The ECO-SCORE project aims to train school-aged youth (10-16 years) in controlling and reducing CO2 emissions through a location-sensitive, game-based approach. The initiative stresses the importance of embedding clean air awareness within the curriculum, citing significant health benefits such as reduced allergies, improved digestion, and longer life spans due to cleaner air. Targeting primarily students in partner countries, ECO-SCORE also involves school management, teachers, and youth workers in implementing eco-aware strategies.
Key stakeholders include NGOs engaged in green activities, as well as policymakers who play a crucial role in supporting green skills through educational and environmental policies. By incorporating clean air training into subjects like STEM and biology, and integrating efforts with local citizen and entrepreneurship initiatives, ECO-SCORE seeks to foster a generation of ecologically resilient students and an informed community that actively participates in reducing air pollution.
