Training of Building Operators of the 21st century
In collaboration with our affiliated company PHOEBE Research and Innovation Ltd our team participated at the HOSPITALITY EXPO Cyprus, an International Exhibition organised on 25-27 January 2020 at the Cyprus State Fair Premises.
HOSPITALITY EXPO is a premium B2B fair targeting all professionals (Hotels, Restaurants, Architects, Designers, Engineers, etc.) in the hospitality sector – more than 100 exhibitors from Cyprus, Greece, Israel, Lebanon, UK and the Netherlands and more than 3000 visitors-professionals. PHOEBE Research and Innovation participated with a booth in the Construction – Technology – Automations sector, where the Domognostics+ solution was demonstrated. This solution provides a real-time building monitoring and diagnosis tool-kit for buildings, including hotels and other large accommodation projects. The booth was a great forum to share information about building analytics solutions, as well as about the need to train the building operators to be able to adapt to the advance requirements of today's technology.
In the framework of the exhibition, several interesting workshops and presentations were organized, to offer added-value knowledge to visitors. EUROCY Innovations organized and ran a workshop based on the training content created in the framework of our VET4SBO project, titled “Operating a smart building in the hospitality/tourism sector – Training of Building Operators of the 21st Century”. The workshop targetted mainly building owners, operators, facilitators, engineers, relevant educators, automation companies & automation systems integrators.
